Historic American Engineering Record (HAER)
The Historic American Engineering Record was established in 1969 to document properties related to America’s engineering and industrial history. Each recordation package combines measured drawings, a written narrative history, and perspective-corrected, large format photographs to produce a comprehensive, interdisciplinary record. All HAER project material is housed at the Library of Congress in Washington, D.C.
