Waterford Bridge - MHPR DK-WTR-005-05

Constructed in 1909, the Waterford Bridge (MHPR DK-WTR-005) was designed by Dakota County Surveyor Charles A. Forbes and erected by the Hennepin Bridge Company. It is significant as an unusual type of Camelback through truss with rigid riveted and bolted connections and one of the earliest rigid-connection bridges in Minnesota. Additional information on the structure can be found at the MnDOT Historic Bridges website. Large format photographic documentation for the Minnesota Historic Property Record (MHPR) was prepared for Summit Envirosolutions, Inc. prior to rehabilitation.
