The Minneapolis Star Tribune Building (MHPR HE-MPC-0473) was originally a four-story red brick structure built in 1919 for the Minneapolis Daily Star. Between 1940 and 1966, architects at Larsen & McLaren designed expansions that enlarged the building by over 200,000 square feet. The building style was Streamlined Moderne, sheathed in buff limestone and black granite.
