Photographic documentation of the Superintendant’s Lodge and maintenance facilities at the Memphis National Cemetery (HALS TN-3) was performed to the standards of the Historic American Landscapes Survey (HALS) for The 106 Group, Ltd. The 1934 Dutch Colonial Revival style residence was built from a standardized plan issued by the US War Department’s Quartermaster Supply Office, and was similar to lodges constructed at Nashville, Beaufort, Corinth, and Wilmington national cemeteries.
