East Side Street Railway Company Station
(1891)
Minneapolis, Minnesota
The East Side Street Railway Company building (MHPR HE-MPC-7075) encompassed an entire 5.4 acre block in Minneapolis’s Nicollet Island East Bank neighborhood. Originally designed for street car storage and maintenance, the building had been extensively renovated for use as an industrial metal plating facility. Nevertheless, it retained sufficient design integrity to warrant recordation under the Minnesota Historic Property Record (MHPR) and Level II photographic documentation (35mm film) was performed for Leonard, Street & Dienard, Inc.
